Two weeks have slipped by; how has that happened? Where did they go? And where was my camera?
None of these questions will be satisfactorily answered by this post, but despite my absence and few photos of any interest, I am compelled by love and loyalty to be here for my favourite meme. Go check out Sarcastic Mom and the other weekly winners, for much greater dedication to the blogosphere and some much better photos!

Evening jewels
I'll be back - I promise. I've got things to say, and tell you about, but I've let the blogging habit slip the last few weeks and just dealt with off-line life for a while. I need to get my broadband connection again - that makes a big difference to my online experience.

The frog one is amazing! Please do tell the story behind that one... what is he in? Or is it a she - do you know? LOL
Who cares, right? Just trying to be politically correct, wouldn't want to upset the frog!
Please tell the story....
Weekly Winners, without-a-doubt!
That first shot is quite something!
Have a good week.
lol...the frog!!! So awesome! That made me really laugh out loud - I love it!!
That first one of the frog is great!!! It looks like it is a frame out of a movie!
Love your green visitor! So cute.
I love the frog one, but I'm a frog lover. The web one is very cool, albeit creepy.
Beautiful. So beautiful!
LOVE the frog and the spiderweb.
Wow, that first one is really awesome! Adorable kids and really neat spiderweb, too!
that spiderweb is gorgeous.
No comments??? Oh sadness! Poor you.
Evening jewels is my favorite. :)
I love the Little Green Visitor!!
Thanks all! Considering it was a paltry effort for a normally snap-happy mama, you are very kind.
The little tree frog is a gem, isn't it? This one was only about the size of man's first thumb joint, and the wee man discovered it tucked snugly in the top of his T-Ball stand one morning. We kept an eye on it all day (and kept it away from Miss Mahlia Fur-Pants), and it rewarded us at dusk by emerging from the top of the stand in the photogenic manner you see.
Of course, I had forgotten all about it by then, and had to bolt for the camera before it hopped away, so only one decent shot. But worth it! (Sorry, didn't get a chance to sex it, Kittilicious - too busy keeping boy and cat from pouncing on it!)
